This year's program is intended to inspire and challenge us, featuring expert insights on some of the most cutting-edge topics in urology. From Artificial Intelligence, Prostate and Kidney Cancer, BPH, Men's Health, Pediatric Urology, Reconstruction, Stones, Female Pelvic Medicine, our speakers will take us to the frontlines of urological care and research. The discussions promise to be both comprehensive and forward-thinking. We will also hear from remarkable leaders in urology, and our community during our Presidential Guest Lectures as well as updates from the AUA and ABU. These are moments to reflect on how far we’ve come and where we’re headed as a community.

     After attending this CME activity, participants will be able to:

1. Describe current and emerging applications of AI in urology practice.
2. Analyze the clinical and oncologic rationale underlying a urologist's transition from radical prostatectomy to focal therapy, including optimal patient selection and required follow-up.
3. Improve management of palliative lower urinary tract symptoms in advanced prostate cancer patients.
4. Analyze use cases for artificial intelligence in urologic education.
5. Interpret existing evidence supporting management of post vasectomy pain syndrome.
6. Formulate management plans that optimize postoperative recovery and ensure safe SDD.
7. Properly counsel patients regarding a drug-coated balloon as a short or long term solution for urethral stricture disease and how it can compare to real world results of urethroplasty.
8. Transition clinical practice patterns from a purely procedure-centered approach to a comprehensive, patient-centered strategy for long-term stone management.
9. Review tools and strategies to aid the transition from medical student to residency, residency to fellowship, and training to independent clinical practice (both private practice and academic practice).
10. Evaluate peptide therapies available for use in men seeking treatment for hypogonadism, erectile dysfunction and its safety.
11. Improve the diagnostic and treatment workup for females with voiding dysfunction.
12. Select from the different options for reconstruction of complex cases in female with genitourinary complications.
13. Determine what defines burnout and its associated risk factors.
14. Identify key clinical and diagnostic considerations in women with non-obstructive urinary retention and underactive bladder.
15. Employ the new UTUC guidelines to standardize treatment of this disease.
16. Review the natural progression of a medical malpractice lawsuit from when the lawsuit is filed to resolution.
17. Apply evidence-based approaches to prevent and manage complications following nephrectomy.

Accreditation: This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the American Urological Association (AUA) and the New York Section of the AUA. The AUA is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Credit Designation: The American Urological Association designates this live activity for a maximum of 17 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Other Learners: The AUA is not accredited to offer credit to participants who are not MDs or DOs. However, the AUA will issue documentation of participation that states that the activity was certified for AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.
