This 90-minute virtual course will explore the latest guideline-concordant care for managing patients with metastatic prostate cancer, including germline and somatic biomarker testing, integrating genetic and biomarker test results into routine clinical workflows, selecting PARP inhibitor-based combination therapies and collaborating with multidisciplinary care teams to implement testing pathway and managing adverse events associated with targeted combination therapy.

This live virtual course will offer simultaneous translation in 60+ languages. Powered by an involved AI based technology, Wordly, attendees will be able to access the audio and captioning translations in real time to help make the course more accessible to our colleagues around the globe.

After participating in this CME activity, participants will be able to:

  • Apply updated AUA guideline–concordant recommendations for germline and somatic biomarker testing (including HRR mutations such as BRCA and non-BRCA) when evaluating patients with metastatic prostate cancer at key clinical decision points.
  • Integrate evidence-based strategies for ordering, interpreting, and acting on biomarker and genetic test results in routine clinical workflows across practice settings during initial and subsequent treatment planning.
  • Evaluate the mechanism of action and clinical rationale for PARP inhibitor–based combination therapies when selecting treatment options for patients with mHSPC and mCRPC at the time of therapy initiation.
  • Incorporate current efficacy and safety data for PARP inhibitor combinations into treatment sequencing decisions for patients with metastatic prostate cancer during real-world clinical management over the next 6–12 months.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to implement testing pathways and manage adverse events associated with targeted therapy combinations in diverse practice settings during ongoing patient care.
