AUA Fundamentals in Urology, Hands-on Skills Training
AUGUST 15-16, 2026
CLEVELAND, OH

Offering unique APP and Resident training tracks, the in-person Hands-on Skills Training will be held on

August 15-16, 2026, in Cleveland, Ohio.

Skills Training Objectives:

  • Provide a standardized and foundational course for junior residents and advanced practice providers to introduce them to urology. 
  • Provide a course that complements the efforts of individual training programs. 
  • Deliver a uniform curriculum to ensure baseline proficiency to improve patient safety. 
  • Provide an opportunity to network with peers. 

This one and a half day training consists of simulations focused on clinical skills such as: priapism, catheters and bladder ultrasound, endoscopy, and ultrasound, and one focused on interpersonal and communication skills. Simulations are tailored to the unique training needs of APPs and Residents.
