This webinar series was developed in support of the objectives of the AUA Clinical Trials CollectiveTM

This 1-hour webinar will conduct a deep dive into the fundamental principles essential to prepare to conduct clinical trial research across the complete spectrum of practice types, as experienced by leading clinical trialists in urology.   This webinar will review foundational topics including site infrastructure and support and the role of the Principal Investigator in advanced prostate cancer clinical trials.  Further considerations such as trial type (single vs. multi-site, interventional vs. observational, therapeutic vs. non-therapeutic) will be explored.  Additional conversation will surround important regulatory and ethical considerations surrounding initiating clinical trial research at your program, as well as the benefits and challenges associated with different funding sources.  Finally, this webinar will detail the critical roles on the clinical trial team needed to initiate successful advanced prostate cancer clinical trial research at academic, independent, and community practice sites.

Accreditation: The American Urological Association (AUA) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Credit Designation: The American Urological Association designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Other Learners: The AUA is not accredited to offer credit to participants who are not MDs or DOs. However, the AUA will issue documentation of participation that states that the activity was certified for AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM.
